You have not been scared until you’re on the toilet and an orange cat, within the splittest of a second, rockets straight up through the stretched out leg hole of your fucking underwear and comes straight at your face. Holy hell. It’s a good thing I was on the toilet already 🫩

Pippi does have a weird thing (obsession?) with my underwear. Whilst they are on my body. Anytime I’m on the toilet, she will try to get into them and I swat her away. When standing in my nightgown, she tries climbing up the inside fabric 😳 I know they are fond of the scent of those that care for them, but wtf anyways! Sniff my laundry pile ya little weirdo!

I fell for a confusing Temu promotion (coughSCAMcough) and spent money thinking there would be the reward of the three items I’d picked out. But no, it kept going and going. I didn’t get a thing. I had attempted to read their rules, but it’s all gobbledygook to me. It reads like purposely confusing word salad! They do that on purpose for sure. Will not get roped into that again. At least I picked things I actually need for diorama and doll/dollhouse stuff.

I got both packages of my cricut a few days ago. Did I even write about buying one? Cricut Maker 5, the big bundle that includes all the normal Cricut stuff but also a subscription to Cricut which includes access to a huge library of resources in Design Space. It also includes a decent sized package with a bunch of materials to start with. I haven’t opened that one yet. Anyhow, to the real story. The Cricut machine itself comes along with some things like a few special markers, a cutting board, as well as some tools. The problem was that whatever fool packed that box did not care. They packed a sensitive machine in a too-large box and padded it with only two crumpled up wads of brown paper. Everything was loose in the box. This box also looked like it had seen better days. It was split open in a few places and had crushed spots. I realise the lack of care on the way here isn’t Cricut’s fault, but the negligence to prevent damage IS. All the flat materials (paper and plastic) were bent. I know that since nothing was at all secured, the machine was knocking around in the box. It wasn’t in it’s own box or anything, just chilling in the mess. Unprotected. Something important inside could have been damaged, and I would have no clue. I sent them a message, trying to sound as nice as possible, but also not like a pushover that will accept this crap. I told them all about it and attached pictures. I said that Cricut should really look into using styrofoam, because just using wadded paper is fucking idiotic. They have not gotten back to me yet. I said Cricut needs to take responsibility and “make it right”, which is what mom said I should say lol. We opened it together and were friggin appalled at the sheer neglect. I don’t know what they’ll do to fix it. I am not paying to send it back for an exchange. That’s up to them. I did get a warranty when I bought it, which added everything up to over $500. I dunno how to use a warranty, actually. I’ve never had to 😅 I just knew it’d be really stupid to not add one, and I was right.

By the by, I made a blog on WordPress for doll stuff exclusively. I don’t think it’s visible yet so I’ll post the link next time.
