Me and mom decided to check out a thrift store, which I had visited a couple years ago. When I went, it was a mess. Mostly furniture and stuff stacked in every free space. It was still the same mess when we went, but I found a treasure, and it only cost $35. I expected $60 or $70!  Here’s an okay picture of it;
A beautiful piece of Audrey Hepburn. I am not sure what this technique is called, but it’s layered paper. Probably card stock. Maybe that’s some form of collage? Anyways. One of the guys that work there said it came from a gallery in High Point NC. It might have closed because he said all the art was cleared out from there. I think it was called A.R.T.  Unfortunately I need some help carrying it upstairs to my apartment cuz it’s seriously heavy. I’m going to hang it behind the sofa because it deserves a place where it can be seen clearly. I’m just enamoured with it. I love Audrey Hepburn. So pretty, classy, and elegant. Anyhoo mom said I probably need something special to hang it because of the weight. I can’t wait to put it on my wall!!

I have decided to permanently cut the cord! I can’t keep paying an arm and a leg for cable I rarely watch. Last time I canceled my cable, I got really depressed. Probably because I had gotten YouTube TV and it sucked. I had to have it installed again. Since I got my Roku TVs I’ve discovered live streaming tv and it works for me. I’ll save quite a bit and have extra spending money. I did keep my internet, of course. I have to take all their stupid, heavy equipment to city hall tomorrow. Last time, a guy came and got it all. Lady at the desk was kinda betchy about it but she always is lol

I’ve been staying at home more. I guess I miss Pippi. I miss Oscar (he’s at moms for now) even though he barely gives me the time of day when I stay there. If I’m lucky, he might come to sleep with me. Just for a bit. 🙁 I hope he still loves me, in that particular cat kind of way.

The situation at A Caring Alternative is kinda up in the air. Jennifer hasn’t called back at all. They’re probably going to discharge me. Oh well! I’d kind of figured that I’d get kicked out no matter what happened.

Right now, I’m on the sofa watching YouTube videos with a little orange Cheeto demon on my lap. 💜😺
